I’m the kind of person that doesn’t like watching movie trailers.
1) because they give away the entire plot and there’s no point in watching the film anymore or
2) they misrepresent the film.
When it comes to recommendations I just want to know, ‘Is it worth watching / reading?’ Don’t tell me the plot. I want to experience that for myself! I prefer to go into as many situations as expectationless as possible! So, I’ve decided to start recommending things in this way.
The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.
I recommend this particularly for creatives or anyone that has a problem with procrastination. It’s fairly short and you could probably go through it in a day if you wanted.
I thought it was particularly meaningful to recommend The War of Art first because, without it this blog wouldn’t exist.
I wasn’t sure if I should link this but, knowledge is power, and hopefully if you find value from it, you can buy the book later.
